Naomi is a founding attorney of Naomi Day Law, LLC AKA Day Law Firm and brings over 18 years of overall experience in Real Estate in Metro Atlanta to the Firm. Naomi is skilled in closings, transfer of title, title curative, contract drafting, lender representation, and settlement procedures and processes. Naomi also has civil litigation experience in landlord tenant rights, contract and vendor agreements, and Realtor representation, including commission disputes, fiduciary duty claims, and FHA violation defense.
Prior to starting Day Law Firm, Naomi worked at the firm formerly known as Aldridge Connors, LLP, and in the designated HUD closing firm formerly known as Fearnley, Califf, Walker and Price, LLC. During these years Naomi gained comprehensive real estate experience, including retail, REO, short sale, and general residential and commercial closings. As a result, Naomi can effectively handle any type of real estate transaction.
Before practicing law, Naomi was a full time student and full time real estate agent. Working with the public in the past as an Agent to find and sell homes, gave Naomi the skills and expertise she has today to meet the goals and needs of Agents and lenders as a Settlement Agent/Attorney.
Naomi also worked as a research assistant and is a published assistant in several journals under the guidance of several influential instructors and professors. During her Master of Science in Conflict Management training at Kennesaw State University, Naomi worked as a research assistant for Dr. Linda M. Johnston, retired Director of the school of social science at KSU. In law school, Naomi worked under Dr. Jeffrey Van Detta, Esq. Professor of law at John Marshall Law School (Atlanta). Dr. Van Detta and Naomi worked together on two projects together, one on the commercial International Sale of Goods survey interest project and the other a published article in “Dialogue with a neurosurgeon: Toward a dépeçage approach to achieve tort reform and preserve corrective justice in medical malpractice cases, 71 U. Pitt. L. Rev. Issue 1 (Summer 2009).
Naomi is licensed to practice in Georgia.
Naomi earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2005 from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama; she then went on to study her Masters of Science in Conflict Management at Kennesaw State University. After her masters, Naomi finished her education in 2011 graduating from John Marshall Law School, Atlanta, GA.
